Visit Qeqertasussuk settlement which is more than 4,000 years old. It is situated on a small island appx 1 hour of sailing from Qasigiannguit.

The settlement has been abandoned since 1963.People used to live and work here, primarily as fishermen and hunters.People left and moved to nearby larger settlements. It is a step back in time to when people where isolated more than today. 

Today Akulliit is the place where local people have their own cottage in area.

Akulliit is only 45 minutes from Qasigiannguit by boat.

Fishing has always been- and still is . important for the Greenlandic people. Therefore. a fishing trip is one of the most authentic things you can experience. There are simple fishing gear on the boat, but it is also possible to bring your own fishing rod.

Join us to boat excursion to Kangersuneq. The fiord is largest fiord near Qasigiannguit. We will be sailing of the coast to the fiord, and is we are lucky we see musk ox or even whales on the way. 

It is also possible to see birdlife like Arctic Tern or huge icelandic seagulls.
